Whether you’re an established business owner or aspiring entrepreneur, Elevate & Lead offers dynamic, hands-on training tailored to female business leadership. Our programme provides advanced insights and practical strategies designed to help you thrive as a successful leader.

Through this course, you’ll gain a holistic view of the challenges women face in business, with actionable tools to enhance your own venture. Plus, our psychometric, quizzes and exercises will help you assess and refine your leadership skills, making your learning journey both impactful and enjoyable.

When: September 24-15 October, 9:30-4:00pm 4 consecutive Tuesdays, each day includes 3 short breaks throughout the day

Linda Hughes

Linda is an innovative, self-directed, and driven Transformational Change Agent with comprehensive experience across B2B, B2C, engineering, manufacturing, energy, hospitality, aerospace, professional services, construction, and corporate sectors. Fellow of the CIPD, with a pragmatic approach to applying best practice methods and frameworks, establishing dynamic and high performing workforces for £Multibillion / million turnover businesses.

A collaborative approach to successful transformational leadership, engaging with business stakeholders at Board / C-level, and with 3rd parties, delivering ‘first class’ business operations, change and transformation. Her areas of expertise extend to: HR Strategy, HR Transformation, Change Management, Strategic HR. Management, Workforce Planning, Talent, Wellbeing, ED&I, HRIS and Business Process improvement.

Away from work Linda enjoys exploring her creative side in a variety ways.

Nick Hughes

Nick is a driven, commercial minded sales leader, who has been the head of sales in the UK and further afield for a number blue chip international businesses within a diverse range of sectors. It is his desire and mission to develop todays salespeople into tomorrow’s sales professionals and leaders of the future with strategic and disruptive thinking.

Starting his own career over 25 years ago, he has led teams from transactional relationships to strategic supplier positions, from technical long cycle sales processes and shorter FMCG sales cycles, across numerous sectors and markets. His mantra throughout his career has always been make your customer centric to your business and delivering stakeholder value is delivered through longer term, mutually beneficial commercial relationships.

Away from work, Nick continues the coaching ethic by coaching youth football.

When does the course start?

  • The course runs twice a year, in April and in September.
  • The next intake starts on September 2024.

How long is the course?

  • Elevate & Lead course runs for 4 weeks.

Do I need to do any pre-work before the course ?

  • Yes, you will be sent a link to complete PSI and the Entrepreneur Assessment.
  • You will be provided with feedback and the results during the course.

How intensive is the course ?

  • Elevate & Lead is delivered entirely face to face and all course materials are available on-demand as the modules are covered. The course is designed for people with busy schedules.
  • Most students will undertake additional work of up to 2 hours per week to complete all exercises or reading materials.
